Assist with rating process as needed for new and renewal business in a timely manner for all personal lines products while ensuring accurate and personalized quotes

Verify rating information relevant to the quoting process and collaborate with the appropriate team member when information is incomplete or missing

Utilize the comparative rater to determine the best market and finalize pricing in the appropriate carrier rating system

Maintain a quality control process to ensure accuracy of products and pricing

Maintain up to date knowledge of carrier underwriting guidelines, line of business trends and coverage changes or updates

Create Customized quote Proposals when requested
Service all aspects of personal lines accounts in a manner to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing our E&O exposures

Prepare and process cancellations and endorsements when required.  Review all applications, policies, endorsements for accuracy

Maintain all client activity in our agency management system, EPIC

Assume other job responsibilities as assigned by department manager

Always Provide the client with an exceptional service experience

3+ years of personal lines insurance experience working in an Independent Agency
Valid Maryland Property and Casualty License
Superior personal lines insurance knowledge
Assume other job responsibilities as assigned by department manager.
Experience rating and quoting with multiple insurance carriers
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft 365 Products and Services
Experience with EPIC management system a plus
